Dates:
SICCA FROSTBYTE will take place on December 13–14 at the Higher Institute of Computer Science Kef. The event begins with check-in and setup on the morning of the 13th, followed by various workshops and the start of the 24-hour development sprint. All submissions must be completed and uploaded before the deadline on December 14, right before final presentations and judging
Eligibility:
SICCA FROSTBYTE is open to all students and developers, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced creator. Participants must register as part of a team (2-4) before the event starts. All attendees must be present on-site at ISI Kef to compete, and each team member must contribute to the project during the 24-hour jam. No prior experience in game development is required, just passion, creativity, and the willingness to build
Project and Submission Requirements:
All projects must be created during the 24-hour jam and must clearly interpret the Frostbyte theme. Teams must submit a playable build of their game, along with a short demo video, screenshots, and a brief description explaining the concept, gameplay, and controls. Your submission must include all necessary files to run the game, and everything used (code, art, sound, assets) must be original or properly credited. Projects that cannot be played, are submitted late, or violate the rules may be disqualified

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection:
All projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following:

Fun & Playability: Is the game enjoyable and easy to play? (30%)

Theme Fit & Creativity: How well does the project capture the Frostbyte theme? (25%)

Technical Execution: Quality of code, mechanics, and functionality (20%)

Art & Audio: Visuals, animations, sound effects, and music (15%)

Polish & Presentation: Overall finish, user experience, and presentation to judges (10%)
